Retire in the South at Quail Run

Posted by: Sarah | Comments (0)

Remember the days of sitting on a front porch swing, greeting neighbors as they take their evening strolls?

That Southern charm is epitomized in Greater Vally Group’s community of Quail Run, where the Kendrick floorplan is now available. The Kendrick is an all-American dream home with four bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms. There are plenty of bedrooms for overnight guests and grandkids, or those rooms could be utilized for crafting, a library or study.

The layout of this home has a natural flow. As guests ascend your porch steps and enter the foyer, they’ll immediately take in the beautiful southern architecture. The formal dining room is to the right, with the over-sized great room straight ahead. The great room flows into the kitchen and breakfast area leaving plenty of room for guests to mix and mingle or for you to just relax. Read More→

Only one move-in ready and four homesites remain at The Haven at Lost Mountain, a Cobb County active adult community.

Soon construction will begin on the four remaining homesites and will feature the Durham floorplan. The Durham features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and is just over 1,800 square feet. Storage is ample in this design with an oversized closet in the master suite and unfinished bonus room with attic.

If you want a move-in ready home, the Farrington is currently available. This floorplan, like the Durham, is three bedrooms, two bathrooms and just over 1,800 square feet. This plan is perfect for anyone that desires quite a bit of extra room as the whole bottom level is an unfinished walk-out basement. This can easily be finished into a media room, game room, library or left for extra storage. This home design lends itself to easy outdoor entertaining with a patio at terrace level and deck off the main level. This outside of this home is beautifully constructed with Hardi-board exteriors and brick and stone accents.

With only five opportunities left to live in this beautiful community, the chance to live at The Haven at Lost Mountain is slipping away. This community is conveniently located near the Avenues at West Cobb, which features premier shopping and dining.

April 17, homebuyers interested in an active adult community came out to Cresswind at Lake Lanier’s grand opening. They toured furnished models, ate hotdogs and enjoyed the music on a beautiful sunny day. The neighborhood must have made an impression.

Merely a couple months later, the community has sold ten homes, and the popularity is expected to continue. The Kolter Group purchased this active adult community on Lake Lanier out of bankruptcy earlier in the year.

Kolter Vice President Bob Rademacher is pleased with the sales. “We have helped bring the community back to life and I think that is one of many reasons that we have seen such a great interest in Cresswind. In seven short weeks, we have sold 20 percent of our inventory,” he said.

Residents of Cresswind at Lake Lanier have access to private and community boat slips – a wonderful benefit since Lake Lanier issues limited numbers of permits. A 25,000 square foot clubhouse is planned for the community.

Cresswind at Lake Lanier features two and three bedroom ranch style floorplans, some of which include basements. Only eight fully-furnished models homes remain for purchase and are expected to sell quickly.
