Greater Valley Group, brought on board two award winning architects in classic southern homes, to design its new community Quail Run in Chambers County, Ala. The architects, James L. Strickland and L. Mitchell Ginn, have an excess of 50 years experience combined, in historic and traditional southern architecture, and are known for exquisite designs.
Strickland is the founder and president of Historical Concepts architectural firm in Atlanta, Georgia, and has been nationally recognized for designing southern historic homes. Play a Round at Riverside

The newly designed course at Riverside Country Club in Lanett, Ala. is open for play! Dedicated players and recreational duffers can now play 18 challenging but fun holes right in the Greater Valley Area. After being completely redesigned, Riverside Country Club reopened in early April and was an instant hit amongst members and guests alike.
What was done to the course?
The existing nine holes were completely renovated, redesigned and replanted while players enjoyed the new nine, which wind through the large, scenic lots of Riverside Estates, a new Greater Valley Group community featuring luxury homes starting in the high $200’s.
The new course was concepted and designed by Ken Ezell of CEC Golf Design Group (Deland, Fla.). His vision was to create an exquisite golf course community.
