Soleil Woodcarver Connects With Community

The residents at Soleil Laurel Canyon enjoy numerous pastimes and activities. For the past 11 years, Don Sungail’s hobby of choice has been woodcarving. After learning the craft at an event in Marietta, he has shared his gift with friends, family and even complete strangers.
Although he often crafts beautiful art for friends and family, Sungail also puts his talents to work helping others. Most recently, he carved nearly a dozen canes with intricately detailed eagle heads to give to soldiers in VA hospitals who recently returned from Iraq. Read More→
Soleil Residents Set to Enjoy New Golf Course

Soleil Laurel Canyon is known for providing active adults with a wide array of fabulous amenities. Residents of the Cherokee County community will now have a new pristine amenity to enjoy: Fairways of Canton. The public golf course is adjacent to Soleil Laurel Canyon and is scheduled to reopen on Aug. 9, 2011.
Golf is popular activity among several Soleil homeowners including Bill Tidwell, who has played the sport for more than 50 years.
