Heron Bay Golf and Country Club, a metro Atlanta golf community, has something a lot of other active adult communities don’t: golf. Lots and lots of great golf.

Heron Bay is part of Canongate Golf Courses. This beautiful country club is the perfect spot to spend a Saturday and the best part is that membership gets you access to 24 private clubs and 27 amazing golf courses.

There are three membership levels:

• The Social Membership: Get access to all of the Canongate social activities such as cocktail hours, tournaments, pool parties and children’s golf tournaments
• The Associate Membership: Access all of Canongate’s golf courses and pay the member’s green fee
• The Full Membership: Use of all Canongate facilities and no greens fee when you play on your home courses.

When you sign up for Canongate, you select a home course. Selecting Heron Bay would give you preferred tee times at the following courses in the Heron Bay package: Heron Bay in Locust Grove, Georgia National in McDonough and Sun City Peachtree in Griffin.

Canongate membership is for the primary member and his or her spouse.

With a Canongate membership and a home in a Heron Bay active adult community, unlimited golf is a pleasant walk away.
